commercetools

Quick-start for the commercetools connector.

In this demo build the commercetools connector uses a recorded-fixture transport: payloads have the platform's public API shape, but nothing leaves the server and no credential exists.

At a glance

Connector id
commercetools
Kinds
catalogue, order
Capabilities
read catalogue, read inventory, webhooks, read orders
Authentication
oauth2 client credentials
Rate limits
Project API; the runner caps at 300 requests/min
Mechanism
HTTP API with OAuth client credentials; subscriptions (messages) to an SQS/PubSub-compatible endpoint; cart creation via API for prefill

Quick-start

  1. Create an API client on the platform with read scopes and paste the project key, client id and secret.
  2. Run the first import. Records are staged first; review the validation summary and any conflicts with your own overrides.
  3. Keep it current: re-import on a schedule or when the source changes.
  4. Publish. Every projection is validated before it goes live.

  -H "Agora-Version: 2026-10-25" -H "Idempotency-Key: connect-commercetools-001" -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
  -d '{ "method": "commercetools" }'

Notes

Good fit for mid-market custom stacks
