MCP server

Every business on AGORA gets its own MCP server, behind the trust edge, with tools chosen by its conversion types.

Each merchant has a Model Context Protocol server at https://app.fondaq.ai/mcp/<slug> (JSON-RPC 2.0 over HTTP). Agents list the tools, search offerings, read policies and availability, and complete the conversions the business enables. The tool list is chosen per merchant: a business that does not take bookings never shows a booking tool.

Identity and tiers

Every request passes the trust edge before any tool runs. An agent that signs its requests with Web Bot Auth (RFC 9421, keys published at /.well-known/http-message-signatures-directory) is verified; a declared but unsigned agent is declared unverified; anything else is unknown. The tier decides which tools an agent may call and at what rate. Customer-linked tools (for example, reading the customer's own bookings) also need an OAuth 2.1 token the customer granted.

Data, not instructions

Tool outputs are data with strict JSON Schemas. They never contain imperative text for the agent to follow.
