Shopify

Quick-start for the Shopify connector.

In this demo build the Shopify connector uses a recorded-fixture transport: payloads have the platform's public API shape, but nothing leaves the server and no credential exists.

At a glance

Connector id
shopify
Kinds
catalogue, order
Capabilities
read catalogue, read inventory, read policies, write back, webhooks, read orders, bulk import
Authentication
oauth2
Rate limits
Admin GraphQL cost bucket: 1,000 points, restores 50 points/s; bulk operations for the initial import
Mechanism
Public app (OAuth), Admin GraphQL API for products/variants/inventory/policies; cart permalinks for prefill; theme app embed for the site SDK
Webhooks
products/update inventory_levels/update orders/create orders/updated

Quick-start

  1. Choose the connector and authorise AGORA on the platform's consent screen. AGORA stores only a credential reference in the vault.
  2. Run the first import. Records are staged first; review the validation summary and any conflicts with your own overrides.
  3. Keep it current: AGORA subscribes to 4 webhook topics and reconciles on a schedule, so a missed delivery is recovered.
  4. Publish. Every projection is validated before it goes live.
curl -s https://app.fondaq.ai/v1/merchants/$MID/connections -H "Authorization: Bearer $AGORA_API_KEY" \
  -H "Agora-Version: 2026-10-25" -H "Idempotency-Key: connect-shopify-001" -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
  -d '{ "method": "shopify" }'

Notes

Respects API cost limits; bulk operations for initial import
