Conversion: checkout

Agents buy through UCP or ACP checkout, or hand the customer to your own checkout with a signed link.

Checkout lets a customer's agent complete a purchase. There are two modes, and a business can use both:

  • Hand-off (the default in the general pack): the agent builds the selection, AGORA mints a signed, short-lived hand-off link, and the customer finishes on your own checkout. The site SDK lands the link and attributes the conversion. Nothing about payment passes through AGORA.
  • Protocol checkout: the agent runs a UCP or ACP checkout session against your MCP or protocol endpoint. Payment is a delegated PSP token (pm_demo_... in this build). The session completes only with your PSP's confirmation reference, so you remain the merchant of record.

Set it up

  1. Enable checkout for the merchant (Settings, conversion types) and choose hand-off or protocol mode.
  2. Make sure each purchasable offering has a price, availability and the policies an agent must quote (returns, delivery or fulfilment).
  3. For protocol mode, connect your PSP in the console; the demo uses a PSP sandbox stand-in.
  4. Publish. The UCP profile and, where the graph qualifies, purchase feeds are generated for you.

What an agent does

Search or list offerings, request a quote (totals, taxes, delivery), then either fetch a hand-off link or create and complete a checkout session with an Idempotency-Key. A completed checkout emits commerce.order.created, which you can receive as a webhook.
